Alchemy New Orleans, LA Alchemy never stops. Alchemy thrives on potential. Alchemy is random, constant, and infinite. Alchemy is an ongoing display of artworks by Mary Elizabeth Van Dyne. The sculptures in Alchemy are the opposite of voids; they become portals between this reality and the next. Katrina Survivors (2012) is a collection of wood sculptures made by enhancing their surfaces and characteristics through a technique developed to bring the essence and soul of the wood back to life.       |
