Joseph Imhauser and Mary Elizabeth Van Dyne


For their exhibition at The Holding Tank, Joseph Imhauser and Mary Elizabeth Van Dyne will be showing a selection of works all dealing with the language of abstraction and its application in everyday life. Ranging from Van Dyne's wood and ceramic sculptures, to Imhauser's paintings, collages, and photographs, abstraction is used by both artists to explore non-verbal forms of communication. These artworks examine the intangible within nature; encouraging their audience to look toward snippets of our daily lives for inspiration and new ways of experiencing.
